Initial consultation and treatment
60 minutes | $150
Following an in-depth consultation, Mitchell will formulate a diagnosis and acupuncture treatment plan. This may include other Chinese medicine tools such as moxibustion, cupping or tui na massage. Diet and lifestyle advice may be offered, together with supplement and herbal remedies.
|
Acupuncture
Acupuncture needles – the width of a human hair – are inserted into acupoints to unblock stagnation and influence the flow of energy.
|
Fire cupping
Suction cups are safely applied to areas of the body to help release tension, encourage blood flow and support lymphatic drainage.
|
Electro-acupuncture
Small electrodes apply gentle pulses through the needles. Often used for chronic pain, nerve conditions and stress relief.
|
Tui Na Chinese massage
This traditional form of Chinese massage helps to relax muscles and stimulate meridians. Most often applied using a balm.
|
Moxibustion (moxa)
The herb mugwort is burnt to bolster energy and tonify qi. Added to the end of a needle or using a stick or cone.
|
Diet & lifestyle advice
Herbal remedies, supplements, and diet and lifestyle advice may be recommended to better support yourself between visits.
