While today's modern world is very different to ancient times – with fast-paced lifestyles and varying environmental toxins, inflammatory markers and stresses – the approach of Chinese medicine still remains the same: to nourish and protect your vital essence, known as your qi or energy.
By looking beyond the signs and symptoms, acupuncture and other Chinese medicine tools aim to release stagnant energy, together with balancing and harmonising the flow of energy, so you can live at your optimal best. |
|
“The ultimate goal of medicine is not just to heal the body, but to harmonise body, mind, and spirit.”

“It is no longer possible to say that the effectiveness of acupuncture can be attributed to the placebo effect or that it is useful only for musculoskeletal pain.”
Stephen Janz, The Acupuncture Evidence Project – A Comparative Literature Review, 2017
|
Acupuncture
Single-use needles – the width of a human hair – are inserted into specific acupoints. They help to unblock stagnation and influence the flow of energy, or qi.
|
|
Tui Na Chinese massage
A traditional form of Chinese massage to relax muscles and stimulate meridians. Techniques can be applied using a balm, or over clothes if necessary.
|
Moxibustion (moxa)
A heat therapy using the herb mugwort to tonify qi and bolster energy. Either applied to the end of a needle or by holding a stick or cone near the skin.

CLIENT FEEDBACK
“Have been to Mitch twice now and am overwhelmingly impressed with both his knowledge and application of the various forms of massage, acupuncture and cupping involved in the treatment. Mitch takes the time to explain what's happening in the procedure, what to expect and how the body is all connecting through the treatments."
